초록

A permeable protective clothing is stored and managed in accordance with the Chemical Material Stockpile Reliability Program (CSRP). According to the CSRP, a permeable protective clothing has a storage life of 5 years and an inspection cycle of 3 years. However, because it has been stored for more than five years, its predicted lifespan must be verified. Therefore, a permeable protective clothing from a specific lot was secured with the endothelium and outer skin; subsequently, it was sealed in the same manner as in long-term storage. Aging was assumed to have occurred only under certain temperatures, and its lifespan was predicted via an acceleration test. After long-term exposure at 70°C, 80°C, and 90°C, a test evaluation was conducted based on the reliability evaluation items of the CSRP, and a lifeprediction model was selected based on the cyclohexane adsorption performance results of the items. The life expectancy was estimated to be 9.7 years at 70°C, 7.1 years at 80°C, and 8.5 years at 90°C when the average temperature of 13.7°C in 2023 was set as the operating temperature. Although a limit exists in the Arrhenius model, which changes the life span depending on the set temperature and sets only the temperature as an aging condition, it may facilitate the development of CSRP evaluation techniques and new permeability-protection clothing as it is derived from the same lot of materials and standardized testing methods.
