UNESCO 디지털유산 보존 방향 연구 - 2003년 ‘유네스코 디지털 유산 보존을 위한 가이드라인’을 중심으로

Abstract

In this Digital era, so much information is created, so how to manage and preserve the archives for the descendants, which are disappearing rapidly, is the question for mankind. Concerned with this matter, UNESCO was the first one that raised the question. It enacted the establishment for ‘the Charter (Constitution) about Digital Heritage Preservation (Oct. 2003)’ and provided the settlement of ‘the Guideline for Preservation of UNESCO Digital Heritage’. While computer and mobile devices are creating archives, huge amount of information is being produced, distributed so fast and vanished. So, at this time to preserve a number of digital information which is disappearing is very significant and the national task. But in reality, the most urgent thing is to search for the way to preserve the information that needs to be conserved because it isn’t controlled and is going away. Therefore, about this matter, I would translate the whole volumes (scripts) of ‘the guideline for Digital Heritage Conservation’ by the Inter national Organization, UNESCO and introduce the conservation policy for digital heritage mainly and lastly, research the preservation methods for digital heritage followed by the same guideline.
