텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 태권도 관련 박사학위논문의 연구동향 분석

본 연구는 태권도 관련 박사학위논문의 연구동향을 분석하여 연구 성과와 시기별 연구 주제의 변화를 규명하는데 있다. 이를 위해 학술연구정보서비스에서 태권도 관련 박사학위논문을 검색하여 최종 792편의 데이터를 분석 자료로 선정하였다. 수집된 자료는 TEXTOM 프로그램을 통해 기술통계분석과 텍스트 마이닝 분석을 진행하여 다음의 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 태권도 관련 박사학위논문은 1986년부터 발표되어 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며, 경희대학교 대학원의 논문 발행 편수가 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 태권도 관련 박사학위논문 상위 5개의 키워드는 태권도(782건), 영향(235건), 관계(163건), 선수(161건), 연구(154건) 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 태권도 관련 박사학위논문의 N-gram 상위 5개의 키워드는 태권도-선수(104건), 태권도-태권도장(83건), 태권도-수련(68건), 태권도-지도자(65건), 대학-태권도(34건) 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 시기별 태권도 관련 주제의 변화를 분석한 결과 1구간(2000년 이전)은 태권도(31건), 차기(11건), 연구(9건), 운동(9건), 역학(8건) 순으로 나타났으며, 2구간(2010년 이전)은 태권도(173건), 영향(68건), 선수(45건), 연구(43건), 운동(43건) 순으로 나타났다. 3구간(2020년 이전)은 태권도(363건), 영향(103건), 관계(86건), 선수(64건) 순으로 나타났으며, 4구간(2025년 이전)은 태권도(225건), 영향(63건), 관계(56건), 중국(49건), 선수(48건) 순으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 태권도가 하나의 학문분야로 지속적으로 발전하고 있음이 검증되었다.
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the research trends of doctoral dissertations related to Taekwondo and to identify the achievements and changes in research topics over time. To this end, relevant doctoral dissertations on Taekwondo were searched using the keyword "Taekwondo" in the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), and a total of 792 dissertations were selected for analysis. The collected data were analyzed using the TEXTOM program, conducting descriptive statistics and text mining analysis, resulting in the following findings: First, Taekwondo-related doctoral dissertations have been steadily increasing since 1986, with the highest number of publications coming from Kyung Hee University Graduate School. Second, the top five keywords in Taekwondo-related doctoral dissertations were Taekwondo (782), Influence (235), Relationship (163), Athlete (161), and Research (154). Third, the top five N-grams in Taekwondo-related doctoral dissertations were Taekwondo-Athlete (104), Taekwondo-Taekwondo Gym (83), Taekwondo-Practice (68), Taekwondo-Leader (65), and University-Taekwondo (34). Fourth, an analysis of the changes in research topics over time revealed that in the first period (before 2000), the main topics were Taekwondo (31), Next Generation (11), Research (9), Exercise (9), and Kinesiology (8). In the second period (before 2010), the main topics were Taekwondo (173), Influence (68), Athlete (45), Research (43), and Exercise (43). In the third period (before 2020), the main topics were Taekwondo (363), Influence (103), Relationship (86), Athlete (64), and in the fourth period (before 2025), the main topics were Taekwondo (225), Influence (63), Relationship (56), China (49), and Athlete (48). These findings confirm that Taekwondo has been continuously developing as an academic discipline.
