초록

The presence and diversity of ceramic goods, spanning from conventional home items to sophisticated technical ceramics, areprogressively influenced by the dynamics of global logistics systems. This research explores the impact of global transportationsystems, supply chain robustness, and trade dynamics on regional availability of ceramic products in various markets. Theresearch integrates quantitative trade information with qualitative perspectives from industry stakeholders to outline thesupply chain routes of ceramic products and pinpoint essential logistical bottlenecks and facilitators. The study examinesinternational trade data from the UN Comtrade and ITC databases, concentrating on import and export movements ofceramic tiles, sanitary ware, and advanced ceramics. Simultaneously, discussions with distributors and ceramic sellers acrossAsia, Europe, Africa, and Latin America provide practical insights into shipping holdups, storage limitations, and howlocal infrastructure affects product diversity. Case studies illustrate how regional logistics strengths like port effectiveness, transport systems, and customs processes directly impact market variety and consumer accessibility. Results indicate thatalthough logistics centers and efficient trade agreements improve product variety and cost-effectiveness, areas with inferiorinfrastructure experience restricted access, elevated costs, and reduced product turnover. The research concludes by suggestingmethods to decentralize ceramic production, improve last-mile logistics, and foster fairer distribution networks.
