The purpose of this study is to investigate whether 'Family-oriented Collectivism' still affects college students in Korea. For this purpose, I first looked at the concept of Values. And I was presenting the 'collectivism' as a representative value of the Koreans. Collectivism in Korea are associate with 'authoritarianism' and 'familism' values. Korea has the characteristics of a distinct 'Family-oriented Collectivism' and collectivism in other countries. I have conducted a questionnaire to see if this would also affect college students who will lead the next generation. The survey results confirm that I could see having a lot of influence of the continuing significant the collectivist values in Korea. It is hoped that findings from this study can provide basic material for Values-oriented education in Korea.
