본 연구에서는 기업의 혁신학습 전략 중 탐험과 활용전략이 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였으며, 이 과정에서 기업가 지향성의 매개효과와 혁신 수용성의 조절효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 자료는 부산지역에 소재하고 있는 191개 혁신형 중소기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 수집되었다. 실증분석 결과에 따르면 탐험과 기업성과의 정의 인과관계를 확인하였으며, 매개역할을 기대한 기업가 지향성은 탐험 및 활용과 기업성과의 관계에서 중요한 정(+)의 매개관계를 하고 있음을 확인하였다. 한편, 혁신 수용성의 조절효과는 탐험과 기업가 지향성의 인과관계에서 중요한 정의 조절효과를 보이고 있으며, 활용전략에서 유의미한 결과를 보이지는 못하였다. 본 연구의 결과들은 혁신을 추구하는 중소기업들에게 탐험 전략의 중요성을 찾을 수 있는 시사점을 줄 수 있으며, 또한 경영자의 기업가 지향성은 매우 중요한 매개효과로서 기술혁신의 변수와 기업성과의 중요한 매개수단이 된다는 것을 각인시켜 주고 있다.
Abstract
This study aims at investigating the path in which exploration and exploitation, which have a significant influence on the corporate performance of SMEs, are mediated through entrepreneurial orientation. For the empirical study, the effects of exploration and exploitation among the innovation strategies corporate performance were analyzed. In this process, the mediating effect of entrepreneurial orientation and the moderating effect of innovation acceptance were analyzed. The data of this study were collected through a survey targeting 191 innovative SMEs located in the Busan area. According to the results of empirical analysis, the causal relationship between exploration and corporate performance was confirmed, and entrepreneurial orientation expected to play a mediating role had an important positive (+) mediating relationship in the relationship between exploration and utilization and corporate performance. On the other hand, the moderating effect of innovation acceptance showed an important positive moderating effect in the causal relationship between exploration and entrepreneurial orientation, but did not show any significant results in the exploitation. This result means that the importance of exploration strategy for SMEs pursuing innovation, and also that the entrepreneurial orientation of CEO showed a very important mediating effect.
