초록
Purpose: By investigating the influence of clinical nurses’ compassion, health literacy competencies, and nurse-physician collaboration on patient-centered care, this study aimed to provide evidence for nursing interventions that enhance patient- centered care. Methods: This study included 190 clinical nurses at a university hospital. Data were collected using a self-report questionnaire covering general characteristics, compassion, health literacy competencies, nurse-physician collaboration, and patient-centered care. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 26.0, incorporating t-tests, ANOVA, the Kruskal-Wallis test, Pearson’s correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: The stepwise multiple regression analysis identified compassion, health literacy competencies, nurse-physician collaboration, and general characteristics, including medical and comprehensive nursing service wards, as significant predictors of patient-centered care, explaining 46.9% of the variance. Conclusion: Enhancing compassion, health literacy competencies, and nurse-physician collaboration among clinical nurses can significantly improve patient-centered care. Targeted nursing intervention programs should be developed to foster these attributes.
