뇌성마비 아동 어머니의 우울과 관련변인

본 연구는 뇌성마비 아동 어머니의 특성과 우울과 대처자원인 자기효능감, 건강상태 및 가족기능간의 관계를 파악하고자 시도되었다.자료수집은 2005년 8월부터 9월까지 부산광역시의 일개 대학병원 재활의학과와 두개 장애인 복지관 을 임의 선정하여 본 연구의 참여에 동의할 것을 동의한 15세 이하의 뇌성마비 아동 어머니 84명을 대상으로 하여 자가보고식 설문지를 이용하여 수집한 자료 중 76명의 자료를 분석하였다. 구체적인 연구결과는 다음과 같다.뇌성마비 어머니의 우울은 평균 21.75±7.06점으로 비교적 낮은 수준이었으며, 아동의 돌봄에 대처하는 자기효능감은 평균 61.70±8.67점으로 보통 수준이었고, 건강상태는 평균 2.80±0.64점으로 보통 수준이었고 가족기능은 평균 67.02±3.01점으로 보통 수준이었다. 우울과 자기효능감, 건강상태, 가족기능간의 상관관계에서 우울은 자기효능감(p<0.01), 건강상태(p<0.01), 가족기능(p<0.01)과 유의한 음적 상관관계가 있었다. 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인에서 자기효능감이 19.4%였으며, 건강상태가 추가되어 24.4%의 설명력을 나타냈다.이상의 결과를 통해 볼 때 뇌성마비 아동의 어머니에 대한 간호중재시 어머니가 아동을 돌보는데 있어 능동적으로 대처해 나갈 수 있게 어머니의 우울과 같은 정신적 건강에 대한 사정뿐만 아니라 우울을 완화하고 자기효능감을 증진시킬 수 있는 방안과 함께 건강상태와 가족기능에 대한 평가도 이루어져야 할 것이다.

Abstract

Objectives: This study attempted to investigate the depression and related factors in mothers of children with cerebral palsy. Methods: The subjects were 76 mothers of children with cerebral palsy under 15 years who attended the rehabilitation department of hospital and local welfare center in Busan. The data were collected through a self-reporting questionnaire from August to September, 2005. The data was analyzed by SPSS 10.0 program using mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression. Results: The results were as follows. The mean score±standard deviation of depression, self efficacy, health status and family function were 21.75±7.06, 61.70±8.67, 2.80±0.64, 67.02±13.01 respectively. The depression had a significant negative correlation with self efficacy (p<0.01), health status (p<0.01), family function (p<0.01). The main factors related with depression in mothers of children with cerebral palsy were self efficacy and health status, which explained 24.4% of the depression. Conclusions: When we try to develop the nursing intervention strategy for the mothers of children with cerebral palsy, we must consider to evaluate the depression, self efficacy, health status and family function. Especially, we need to develop the nursing intervention to relieve mothers depression and promote self efficacy for caring the children with cerebral palsy
