<玉樹記>에 나타난 中國認識

Abstract

A study on aspects Writer's thoughts about China in <Oksuki>Jo, Gwang-Guk This paper aims at revaluating <Oksuki> which was korean novel, written by Sim-Neongsuk(1782-1840). <Oksuki> compared with other korean classical novels by the 19th century, had special aspects. Sim-Neongsuk incarnated his thoughts in <Oksuki>. Conclusion is as following. Sim-Neongsuk received Chinese historic events and real persons as Yangbang(梁芳) and Kyehho(繼曉), and he received Mongo,s attack. He accommodated the historic event just as it was and changes and do re-creation. Sim-Neongsuk incarnated Orthodoxy of succession to the throne and Sino-centrism. This is thought of Orthodoxy Confucianism persons, above all, Juja(朱子). And he revaluated positively about China persons as Samacheon, Yujongwon, Sunja, Jangja who were evaluated contradictorily by Juja. Conclusively he was retaining contradictory ideas each other like these. This inclination was made in flowing of Korean complicated ideas in 19century. At that time, orthodoxy Confucianism was dwindled and other ideologies were alternating orthodoxy Confucianism in Korea.
