한국사진학의 학문적 특성과 과제에 대한 연구

Abstract

Over 40 years, photographic studies has lived in an institution for advanced learning in Korea. So far, photographic studies has produced many great professional photographers ,and has been leading photographic culture of Korea. In this point, I’d like to identify the meaning of photographic studies as a way of education, not a fulfillment of social need or department of photography ,moreover take a deep look at if photographic studies education is being performed desirably. We are living in a fast-changing civilized world. In this world, I wish to consider that our higher-education institute system is providing a educational service for the situations of students with the social needs of photography, and is developing with full of the educational phase, moreover I’d like to indicate the range of the photographic studies direction as a higher-education institute system. The photographic studies of college and university and graduate school must be endowed with an educational qualification, and the educators of the college are supposed to know the requirement of the student as a consumer of the education ,also set a direction in the purpose of considering for the social needs. On the background of photographic studies so far and through a giving directions as a higher educational system, I hope to make a small trigger for the greater development of photographic studies in the education of college just like what has been done for a long time.
