유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 온정적인 양육행동에 영향을 주는 변인들 간의 구조적 관계: 북한이탈주민 어머니와 남한 어머니 간의 다집단 분석

초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 온정적인 양육행동에 영향을 주는 변인들 간의구조적 관계를 살펴보고, 북한이탈주민 어머니와 남한 어머니 간의 차이를 다집단으로 분석하는것이다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기도에 거주하는 북한이탈주민 어머니 196명과 남한 어머니 201명을 대상으로 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 23.0을 이용하여 다집단 구조방정식으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 온정적 양육행동은 역기능적 상호작용의 양육스트레스와는 부적관계인 반면, 부모역할에 대한 효능감과 의사소통지향의 상호작용은 정적관계가 나타났다. 측정모형과 구조모형은 적합한 것으로 나타났으며, 온정적인 양육행동에 역기능적 상호작용의 양육스트레스는 직접적으로영향을 주며, 부모역할에 대한 효능감과 의사소통지향의 상호작용을 매개로 간접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 북한이탈주민 어머니들은 남한 어머니에 비해 역기능적 상호작용의양육스트레스가 부모역할에 대한 효능감에 주는 영향이 더 크게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 북한이탈주민 어머니가 자녀와의 상호작용에서 나타나는 양육스트레스를 감소시켜줄 수 있는 방안을 모색하여 제시한다는 점에 의의를 갖는다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationships between variables affecting warmth-parenting behavior of mothers with children in early childhood, and to analyze the differences between North Korean defector and South Korean in multi-group approach. For data, 196 mothers of North Korean defector origin and 201 South Korean mothers living in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province were analyzed using SPS 18.0 and AMOS 23.0 through a multi-group structural equation. First, while warmth-parenting behavior had a negative direct effect on the parenting stress of dysfunctional interaction, the efficacy in the role of parents had a positive direct effects on the communication-oriented interaction. The measurement model and the structural model were found to be appropriate. The parenting stress of dysfunctional interaction directly influenced warmth-parenting behavior. An indirect influence was exhibited through the efficacy in the role of parents and communication-oriented interaction as medium. Second, the impact of parenting stress of dysfunctional interaction on the efficacy in the role of parents was shown to be greater in North Korean defector mothers than South Korean mothers. These results are significant in finding and suggesting ways for North Korean defector mothers to reduce parenting stress when interacting with their children.
