본 연구는 우리나라 영유아를 대상으로 발달수준을 파악해 볼 수 있는 검사도구를 개발하고, 영유아 발달체계표를 작성하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 대상은 0세부터 만 6세까지로서 문항 개발을 위한 연령 단계의 구분은 0세부터 24개월까지는 3개월 단위로, 25개월부터 48개월까지는 6개월 단위로, 49개월부터 72개월까지는 1년 단위로 하여 총 14개의 단계로 구분하였다. 문항 분석 결과 최종 선정된 문항 수는 대근육운동영역 150, 소근육운동영역 98, 인지영역 140, 언어영역 121, 사회성정서영역 134문항으로 총 643문항이 선정되었다. 본 검사는 전국의 유치원, 어린이집, 놀이방 총 87개 기관의 원아들과 가정집의 영아 등 총 2,530명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 검사의 타당성 분석을 위해 반분신뢰도, 측정의 표준오차 및 문항내적합치도 계수, 내용타당도, 하위영역 간 상호상관계수를 산출하였다. 발달규준은 14개 연령 단계별, 각 문항별로 50%, 70%, 90% 수준에서의 통과 연령(월령)을 산출하였고, 이에 기초해 발달 영역별, 단계별 발달체계표를 작성하였다.
Abstract
This article describes the construction of a developmental test and norm table for young Korean children from ages 0 to 6 years old. The developmental test consists of 643 items in 5 areas: 150 items in gross motor, 98 items in fine motor, 140 items in cognition, 121 items in language and 134 items in social and emotional development areas . To develop these test items, age and development were classified into 14 levels: from 0 to 24 months is divided into 8 units of 3 months , 25 to 48 months is divided into 4 units of 6 months and 49 to 72 months is divided into 2 one year units. The childrens' pass rate of each items' 50%, 70%, &90% over age levels were computed. The test was standardized by administering it to a sample of 2,530 young children from 0 to 6 year olds in 87 institutions such as, kindergartens, dare care centers, playrooms, and individual homes. To determine the test's reliability and validity, split-half reliability, standard errors of measurement, inter-item consistency, content validity and inter-correlation coefficients of the five areas within the test were calculated.
