유아의 환경소양 증진을 위한 가정연계 중심 환경교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용 효과

본 연구는 가정연계 중심 환경교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 그 교육적 효과를 평가하고자 하였다. 환경에 관한 인지적․정의적․행동적 요인 간의 균형을 고려하고, 가정-유치원 간 진정한 협력의 의미를 도출하기 위한 가정연계 중심 프로그램을 구안하여 총 30개 활동을 개발하였으며, 만 5세 유아와 그 부모들에게 적용하였다. 프로그램 적용에 따른 통계 분석 결과, 가정연계 중심 환경교육 프로그램은 유아의 환경친화적 태도와 부모의 환경보전 행동과 환경친화적 태도에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 따라서 본 프로그램은 유아와 부모를 대상으로 환경소양을 증진을 위한 새로운 접근으로서 적극적인 활용이 기대된다.

Abstract

This paper discusses the development and evaluation of an environment education program based on a family-partnership model. Subjects were 50 five-year-old young children and their parents from 2 classes at O kindergarten located in M city. A modified CATES-PV for children and a Home Environmental Practices Inventory, Adult's Attitudes Toward the Environment Scale for parents were used in the data collection. An environment education program based on family- partnership model was used with the experimental group, and an environment education program without family-partnership program was used with the comparative group. Covariance Analysis (ANCOVA) was used to analyze to the data. The research results can be summarized as follows. First, I developed content for 30 activities used in an environment education program based on family-partnership. Second, the children's environment education program based on family-partnership was found to have a positive effect on the children's pro-environmental attitudes and parent's environmental practices and pro-environmental attitudes.
