본 연구는 어머니의 부정적 양육행동이 유아의 공격성에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 이 관계에서 스마트 미디어 과의존과 화용언어 능력의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 만 5세 유아를 둔 어머니 300명으로, 온라인 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 21.0을 활용하여 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 어머니의 부정적 양육행동은 유아의 공격성에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 어머니의 부정적 양육행동과 유아의 공격성 간의 관계에서 스마트 미디어 과의존과 화용언어 능력이 순차적으로 매개하는 경로가 유의하게 확인되었다. 특히 화용언어 능력은 스마트 미디어 과의존으로 인한 부정적 영향을 완화하고, 유아의 공격성 감소에 중요한 매개 및 조절 요인으로 작용하였다. 본 연구는 유아의 공격성에 영향을 미치는 다중 경로를 실증적으로 검증함으로써, 부모의 양육행동 개선, 스마트 미디어 사용 지도, 언어 환경 지원을 통한 유아 공격성 예방 및 개입 방안 마련에 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study attempted to confirm the effect of mothers’ negative parenting behavior on infants’ aggression and verify the sequential mediating effects of smart media dependence and pragmatic language ability in this relationship. The subjects of this study were 300 mothers of 5-year-old infants, and data were collected through online surveys. For the collected data, structural equation model analysis was conducted using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The results of the study showed that mothers’ negative parenting behavior had a significant positive effect on the aggression of infants. In addition, in the relationship between mothers’ negative parenting behavior and aggression of infants, the sequentially mediated path by smart media overdependence and pragmatic language ability was significantly confirmed. Pragmatic language ability acted as an important mediating and regulating factor in alleviating the negative effects of smart media dependence and reducing aggression in infants. This study is significant because it provides basic data to improve parenting behavior, guides the use of smart media, prevents aggression in infants, and prepares intervention measures through language environment support by empirically verifying multiple pathways that affect aggression in infants.
