Abstract
This paper compares Chuang-tzu and Nietzsche by Relativism. Relativity emphasizing, a skeptical viewpoint, criticism about language, the negation of universal truth of the Nietzsche, appears prominently even in the Chuang-tzu. According to Nietzsche, perspective parts by perspective of narrow meaning and perspective of wide meaning. Two perspectives corresponds to ‘小知(So-Ji)’ and ‘大知(Dae-Ji)’ in concept of the Chuang-tzu. According to Nietzsche, the universal truth does not exist, only the untruth exists. Similarly Chuang-tzu criticized ‘true 知(Ji)’ fundamentally. Chuang-tzu emphasizes natural instinct, and Nietzsche taking a serious view Vitality. But, Chuang-tzu do not criticize thoroughly about existent value as defensive because of absolute value named ‘道(Tao)’ than 'Nietzsche'.
