대기업 대 중소기업별 전자무역 성과에 영향을 주는 요인에 관한 실증연구

본 논문에서는 국제통상기업을 대기업 및 중소기업으로 나누어 전자무역의 성과와 요인간의 관련성을 분석하고, 향후 한국의 수출입 기업에 대한 전자무역 추진전략에 관한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 회귀분석 결과, 대기업군에서는 실행수준만이 성과에 유의적인 관계를 보인 반면, 중소기업군에서는 산업정보화 수준, 실행수준, e-Trade경영전략 등의 상당수 변수가 성과와 유의적인 관계를 나타내서, 전체적으로 조직의 규모는 전자무역의 성과와 상당한 관계가 있을 것이라는 점을 시사하였다. 또한 정준상관관계분석(Canonical Correlation Analysis) 결과도 대기업에서는 실행수준이, 반면 중소기업의 경우 산업정보화 수준 및 실행수준이 가장 영향력을 주고 있고, 이외에 IT인프라 구축과 e-Trade경영전략이 어느 정도 관련되어 있다. 따라서 국제통상기업은 규모별로 실정에 맞는 목표와 이에 따른 전자무역 성과를 설정하고 이에 따라 선택적인 지원 정책을 조정해 나가는 전략적 사고가 필요하다.

Abstract

This paper examined e-Trade performances based on the size of international enterprises, that is large vs small and medium enterprises. Various potential factors associated with e-Trade performances were modeled by employing both regression and canonical correlation analysis. At first, regression results show that while only operation level is a statistically significant factor for large enterprises, significant factors for SMEs include industry information, operation levle, and e-Trade strategy. Further, empirical results by canonical correlation analysis reveal that statistically significant factors include operation level for large enterprises, and industry information and operation level for SMEs while IT infra and e-Trade strategy are also related. As a result, international enterprises should carry out performance target based on the size of the firm and adjust selective supporting policy strategically.
