초록
Abstract
As is well known, Hegel speaks of the rationality of reality, so that his philosophy can be understood as a normative or paradigmatic ontology. The thesis of the reasonableness of reality has two dimensions, a) an epistemic-ontic one, according to which the world is internally logical or 'conceptual', so that our thinking can know the world, and b) an ethical-ontic one according to which the world is justified so that our thinking can reconcile itself with reality. In the analytical debate about epistemology, Hegel's first epistemic-ontic thesis has recently been increasingly discussed. This raises the question of whether the second thesis can also be reconstructed and updated in an analogous manner. The text suggests such a reconstruction, which refers to the discussions on the 'moral worldview' in Hegel's Phenomenology. With such a reconstruction, the ethical-ontic thesis can be updated in a minimal form, although the question of whether Hegel's maximal intention of the rationality thesis can be updated in an analogous manner must remain open.
