Abstract
A Study for the Improvement of Public Opinion Survey Validity Public opinion polls takes an important status in power game as not a reflection of social phenomena, but an actual factor that can substitute political power. Nonetheless, its importance is under-estimated whether the forecasts of poll - telephone survey especially - are correct or not. This problem is caused by the telephone survey's low validity derived from the internal limitations of polls and trial heat survey like an horse racing, opinion manipulation, yellow journalism of mass media in spite of the telephone survey's convenience in time and costs required. So, the followings are accomplished to improve the validity of telephone survey as a public opinion poll ; careful research design, rational questionnaire, qualification of sampling, relevant response rate, scientific and situational interpretation and deliberate reporting, etc.
