계몽가사의 근대적 담론과 비유체계연구―≪대한매일신보≫의 <시 평론>을 중심으로

Abstract

This thesis looks into discourse's character and the analogy system of ‘Gyemongasa(계몽가사)’ called <sisapyongron(시평론)> which reported in ≪Daehanmaeilsinbo(대한매일신보)≫. Enlightenment Era is the times of disorder. The preexistence recognition system was dissolved and new discourse was formed autonomously or by rules. An ardent wish about Western modernity and the recognition which had to protect country from pressure of imperialism formed specific discourse in Enlightenment Era. Gyemongasa shows this character in forms and contents phases. There is the place where the sense meets with the reason, an individual territory meets public territory. Through this, Gyemongasa formed the modern poetic form. This thesis divides a analogy system of discourse and considers their a specific character. Concretely we divide modernity and a analogy system of discourse by three. We investigate a symbol of the time that ‘light’ and ‘speed’ showed, a symbol of the space that ‘Keungil’, ‘railroad track’, ‘playground’ meaned, the physical symbol that ‘hygiene’ and ‘pollution’ meaned. Various symbols may give help in order to understand the meaning of Gyemongasa. Also we confirmed a formation principle and a limit of discourse through a unification strategy called nationalism and synecdoche contemplation which all individuals become a hero.
