<센과 치히로의 행방불명>은 흔히 아이들을 위한 애니메이션 혹은 동화로 여겨진다. 이러한 측면에서 보면, 연애의 서사가 이 작품 깊숙이 투영되어 있다는 점은 부담스러운접근 방식이 아닐 수 없다. 그래서 그런지 현재까지 <센과 치히로의 해방불명>에서 연애의 서사를 전면적으로 분석하고 해당 작품의 주요한 특질로 거론하는 연구는 매우 드물다. 하지만 <센과 치히로의 행방불명>을 올곧게 이해하기 위해서는, 작품 내에 담긴 연애의 서사를 분명하게 이해할 필요가 있다. 이 연구는 이러한 목적을 수행하기 위하여 < 센과 치히로의 행방불명>의 서사에서 연애의 화소를 순차적으로 추출하여, 그 특징을점검하고, 해당 작품이 연애의 서사를 기본적으로 추구한 과정과 이유를 이해하고자 한다. 이것은 <센과 치히로의 행방불명>에서 여인이 되는 소녀의 이야기를 은유적으로 드러내기 위한 서사 장치이기도 했다.
Abstract
<The Spiriting Away Of Sen And Chihiro> is often considered an animation or fairy tale for children. From this point of view, the fact that the narrative of love is deeply projected in this work is a burdensome approach to this work. Until now, that is whythere have been very few studies in <Th e Spiriting Away Of Sen And Chihiro> that comprehensively analyze the narrative of love and mention it as a major characteristic of the work. However, in order to properly understand <Th e Spiriting Away Of Sen And Chihiro>, it is necessary to clearly understand the romance narrative contained in the work. In order to accomplish this purpose, this study sequentially extracts the motifs of love from the narrative of <Th e Spiriting Away Of Sen And Chihiro>, examines their characteristics, and analyzes the process and reasons were demonstrated. Ultimately, the love story of <Th e Spiriting Away Of Sen And Chihiro> was a narrative device to metaphorically progress the story of a girl who becomes a woman.
