한국어와 한국문화 교재 분석의 사례 『사회통합프로그램KIIP 한국어와 한국문화』 교재 언어기능의 통합 교육 양상과 언어 활동의 메타분석을 중심으로

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the aspects of integrated education of language skillspresented in the textbooks published in 2020 within the scope of Korean Immigration andIntegration Program (KIIP) through the meta-analysis method of textbook activities. Korean Immigration and Integration Program, which proceeds accordingly with thedevelopments of new age, reorganized and introduced textbooks which will fully refl ect the needsof program participants in 2020. In order for foreigners participating in KIIP to acquire skillsand knowledge easier to carry into practice in Korean society through education, it is necessaryto develop communication skills in real life through an education process. Th erefore, it can beconcluded that the integrated education of language skills such as listening, speaking, writing andreading is crucial. The research process of this study divided into two stages. In the first stage, all textbookactivities are analyzed according to the types of language skills included in fi ve main textbooks,and distribution of the skills in each textbook is presented. In the second stage, the resultsobtained from the fi rst stage is analyzed by considering integrated education of language skills asthe base and each language skill is assigned with a diff erent score. Th e valuation of the integritylevel of each language function is analyzed through factors such as the distribution of languageskills included in one language activity, the order and allocated time for textbook activities,and participation method of learners. In conclusion, based on various statistical analyses, thecharacteristics of integrated education of language skills presented in textbooks developed withinthe scope of Korean Immigration and Integration Program (KIIP) are explained and suggested for future textbook development.
