통일교육의 확산 방안에 관한 연구: 독일 연방정치교육센터의 사례를 바탕으로

Abstract

A low profile about reunifcation of Korea, each administration’s unbalanced views toward North Korea, ineficiency of civic education system, and the younger generation’s low interest about reunifcation of Korea must be improved in order to achieve unifcation of Korea. Along with these, the function and role of the Instiute for Unifcation Education ned to be modifed to give beter civic education for fre democracy, national unity, and sound national security with regard to inter-Korean relations. This study sugests citzenship education based on the case of the Federal Agency for Civic Education in Germany. The results of this study recommend thre sugestions to improve curent civic education system. First, the Instiute for Unifcation Education as a head-quarter should control public and private civic education agencies. Second, a new public organization for civic education that asists private education agencies for unifcation should be founded. Finaly, a governance system of civic education for unifcation which is consisted of public sector (central government agencies, local government agencies, and public instiution) and private sector should be instiuted.
