의료진의 청각장애 이해정도가 청각장애인의 의료서비스 만족도에 미치는 영향: 진료에 대한 충분한 설명의 매개효과를 중심으로

초록

청각장애인은 의사소통 제한으로 인해 의료서비스 이용에 어려움을 겪을 뿐 아니라, 의료진들로부터 진료결과에 대해 충분한 설명을 들을 수 있는 한계가 있다. 그러한 청각장애인의 열악한 의료 환경을 인식하고 이에 따라 본 연구는 의료진의 청각장애 이해정도가 청각장애인의 의료서비스 만족도 간에 진료결과에 대한 충분한 설명의 매개효과가 있는지 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국장애인개발원에서 실시한 장애인의 삶 패널 조사 2차 자료(2019년)를 SPSS Process macro 4.1으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 의료진의 청각장애 이해정도가 청각장애인의 의료서비스 만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤을 뿐 아니라, 진료에 대한 충분한 설명도 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 기반으로 청각장애인의 의료서비스 만족도를 향상시키기 위한 실천적 함의를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 청각장애인의 의료서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 점에서 의의가 있으나, 한계 또한 있다. 한계점은 관련 변인들이 단일 문항으로 측정되어 있을 뿐 아니라 이 변수들의 문항은 특정 장애유형에 국한하지 않고 전체 장애인을 하나의 집단으로 구성되어 있다는 것이다.

Abstract

The aim of study is to explore the effect of medical staff's understanding of deafness on medical service satisfaction of deaf people, and the mediating effect of sufficient explanation. For this, the study analysed the 2th data(2019) in SPSS Process macro 4.1. The medical staff's understanding of deafness has a positive effect on the medical service satisfaction of deaf people. Also, there is the mediating effects of sufficient explanation on the relationship between doctor's understanding of deafness and deaf People' satisfaction with medical care. Based on the results of the study, it provides several implications.
