ACTS Theology-Faith Movement: Its Contributions and Prospect

The purpose of ACTS theology-faith movement is restoring the essence of Christianity. The emphasis of the movement lays not only on theoretical but also on practical aspects. The movement can be described in three-fold. First, deeply rooted in the theology of John Calvin, ACTS theology-faith movement stresses that there is central truth in the Bible and the multi-dimensional contents of the biblical truth are combined by the central truth. Second, John Wesley's desiring for the living faith inspires a soteriology-driven theological endeavor. Third, scientific method of theology, which Dr. Chul Hwa Han suggests, denotes a methodology of motivating the salvation of sinners. This theological method must be separated from the Kantian or scholarcism in the Middle Ages. Diverse scientific areas are founded by this life-giving and spirit-reviving method.
