‘ACTS 신학’의 정체성 — ‘신학공관’과 ‘기독교 중심진리’

본 연구는 두 가지 목적을 가지고 이루어졌다. 첫째는 “ACTS 신학공관 운동”을 개관하되 세 단계로 발전되었음을 정리하여 보여주는것이고, 두 번째 목적은 이 신학공관 운동의 핵심은 “기독교 중심진리”라는 개념이고 그것이 무엇이며 어떠한 특성을 가졌는지를 밝히는 것이다. 필자는 신학 공관 운동의 본래 취지가 신학 분과 상호 간 연구를 촉진시키는 것으로 보고 있기 때문에 기독교 중심 진리의 다차원성을 강조하고자하였다. 따라서 본 논문의 논지는 다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다: 기독교의중심진리는 “복음 신앙을 통한 구원”인데, 이는 하나의 특정 교리나이론적 원리로 제한될 수 없는 광범위한 구원의 실재 전체를 포괄하는것으로서 기독교 종교의 중심축을 이룬다. 그것은 교리와 경건 및 구속 받은 인간 삶 전체를 포함한다. 그리하여 그것은 우선적으로 인간 경험에앞서서 모든 경험을 결정하는 선험적인 (transcendental) 성격을 가졌고, 그리하여 삶의 다양한 층들에 관계되는 다차원적 특성을 가졌을뿐 아니라 통일성과 다양성을 포괄한다. 본 논문은 이 기독교 중심진리야말로 신학공관의 중심이고 이 신학공관 운동이야말로 ACTS 신학의정체성을 이루고 있다고 주장하였다. 그리고 무엇보다 이 기독교 중심진리의 핵심 영성인 복음적인 영성을 축으로 하여 잃어버린 인간 영혼을찾고 계시는 하나님의 사랑을 반영하는 신학을 하는 것이 ACTS 신학의 정체성을 담지 하는 것이라고 보았다. 본교 설립 정신인신본주의와 복음주의는 다름 아닌 이러한 신학 공관 운동의 표현으로서 결코 다른 것이 아니고 이 정신에 따라 ACTS 신학은 무엇보다선교 사역을 포함하여 세상을 향하여 하나님의 나라를 이루고자하는 교회의 모든 사역의 토대가 되어야 한다.
Abstract
This paper has two goals. One is to stress the significance of “ACTS Theological Synoptic Movement” by surveying the three stages of development of “ACTS Theology”. The second goal is to show that the core of ACTS Theological Synoptic Movement is the central truth of Christianity by dealing with its identity and nature. Since this Synoptic Movement itself promotes cross-departmental studies within theological field, this paper tries to highlight the multi-dimensional nature of the central truth. The thesis of this paper is that the identity of the central truth of Christianity can be defined as “the salvation through the gospel faith” which is neither confined to any one doctrine nor one principle but comprehensively refer to the whole reality of salvation around whose axis the totality of the Christian religion revolves. It encompasses areas of doctrine, piety and life. Thus it has firstly transcendental nature which determines all our experiences, secondly multi-dimensional nature which covers various strata of life and finally that of both unity and diversity. This paper concludes that the identity of ACTS theology lies in the evangelical spirit which corresponds to the heart of God that seeks the salvation of human beings. ACTS Theology is God-centered and gospel-centered theology which basically orientates itself towards the missional practices of the church.
