신학교육기관으로서ACTS가 지향해야 할 신약학 분과의성격과 목적에 대한 제언

초록

이 글은 신본주의와 복음주의라는 교육이념의 토대 위에 아세아 및 세계복음화를 목적으로 1974년에 설립된 아세아연합신학대학교(ACTS)의 신학-신앙운동의 일환으로 집필된 것이다. 특히 신학교육기관으로서 ACTS의 신약학 분과가 지향해야 할 가치와 방향을 재조명한 글이다. 이를 위해 먼저 국내외 신학계에서 활용하고 있는 신학적 용어들을 살펴보았다. 아울러 해석학적 방법론에 비추어 신약학의 과거와 현재와 미래를 조망하였다. 이를 통해 ACTS 신학-신앙운동과 ACTS 신약학을 위한 제언과 사명을 다섯 가지로 제시해 보았다. 무엇보다 ACTS 신약학은 복음주의 성경신학적 틀 안에서 연구하고 발전시켜야 할 신학분야임을 주지하면서, 이론-실천적 항목들이상호 연계적으로 나타나야 할 것을 제안한다. 이것은 아래와 같다. (1) 바른성경관에 기초한 성경주해 중심의 신약성경신학, (2) 교향곡적 신약성경신학, (3) 예수 그리스도와 하나님 나라 및 구원론 중심적 신약성경신학, (4) 통합적이면서도 연계학문적인 신약성경신학, (5) 종말론적이며 선교적 일상생활을 섬기는 신약성경신학. 이 운동은 일차적으로 ACTS 성경신학 교수들 및 모든 교수진이 함께 해야 할 연합운동이다. 동시에 ACTS에서 공부하고 있는 재학생들, 특히 석박사과정 중에 있는 한국 학생들 및 외국인 학생들을 통해 발휘되기를 기대한다. ACTS 출판부는 ACTS가 추구하는 신학-선교적 사상과 비전을 현실화하는데 매우 효과적인 도구로 기능을 다하도록고려해야 한다.

Abstract

This paper has been designed in terms of the theological-religious movement of ACTS which was established in 1974 for the purpose of evangelization of Asia and the world based on theocentricism and evangelicalism as her educational value. It aims to elaborate the characteristics and the goals of the New Testament Studies Department (NTSD) of ACTS as a theological institution. I, first of all, will define several theological terms such as ‘theology’, ‘Christian theology’, ‘biblical studies’ and ‘biblical theology.’ Then I also briefly sketch with some comments the New Testament studies past, present and future in light of their hermeneutical methods. After doing so, I propose five suggestions as tasks for NTSD of ACTS as part of ACTS’ theological-religious movement. Considering that NTSD of ACTS should be organized and developed within the reformed-evangelical biblical theology, the paper claims these theoretical-practical elements are to be presented in an inter-relational academic framework. These elements are as follows: (1) the Bible exegesis centered on NT biblical theology based on the sound doctrine of the Scripture, (2) the symphonic NT biblical theology, (3) the NT biblical theology focusing on such themes of Christology, the Kingdom of God and salvation, (4) the NT biblical theology as an integrated and interdisciplinary department and (5) the NT biblical theology which serves eschatological and missional life in everyday situation. This academic movement is driven by both the ACTS’ biblical theology professors and other members of ACTS’ faculty. In a similar vein, this is to be well actualized in ACTS’ Korean and international students, particularly those who are engaged in ThM and PhD programs. One way for this academic movement to be practically promoted is through the ACTS Press in a series of publication, which can be considered a vital and effective tool in making the ACTS theological-religious thoughts and vision realized.
