본 연구는 로잔운동이 역사적으로 한국교회에 미친 영향력과 특히 제4차 로잔대회에서 논의된 선교적 주제들이 한국교회에 제시된 시대적 과제를 이해하고 선교적인 실천방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 역대로잔운동의 발전과 전개에 결정적 역할을 해온 역사적·사회경제적·정치적 맥락을 분석함으로써, 이 운동의 형성과정과 이후의 성장 동인이 무엇인지를 고찰하였다. 또한, 역대 로잔대회가 제시한 논의들과 더불어 한국교회에 미친 영향들을 분석하였다. 더 나아가, 2024년에 열린 제4차 로잔대회를 통해서 추출된 새로운 시대적 사명과 과제를 확인하고, 앞으로 한국교회가 복음주의 운동의 측면에서 그 시대적 과제를 감당할 실천방향을 다루었다.
Abstract
This study examines the historical impact of the Lausanne Movement on the Korean Church, with particular emphasis on the missional themes discussed at the Fourth Lausanne Congress and the contemporary challenges they pose. To this end, the research analyzes the historical, socioeconomic, and political contexts that have played decisive roles in the development of the Lausanne Movement, thereby shedding light on the factors underlying both its initial formation and subsequent growth. In addition, the study explores the key themes endorsed by past Lausanne Congresses, the defining characteristics of each era, and their influence on the Korean Church. Building on this foundation, it identifies the newly articulated missional responsibilities and tasks that emerged from the Fourth Lausanne Congress held in 2024, and discusses how the Korean Church, from an evangelical standpoint, can practically address these challenges in the future.
