심포기맥(K9) 지압과 내관(P6) 지압이 비의식하 진정 위내시경 대상자의 불안, 오심과 구역 및 생리적 변화에 미치는 효과

초록

목적: 본 연구는 심포기맥(K9) 지압과 내관(P6) 지압이 ‘비의식하 진정’ 위내시경 대상자들의 불안, 오심과 구역 및 생리적 변화(산소포화도, 수축기혈압, 이완기 혈압, 심박수, 체온, 호흡수)에 미치는 효과를 파악하기 위한 것이다. 방법: 본 연구는 비동등성 대조군 전후설계의 유사 실험 연구이다. 연구의 대상자는 2013년 12월 1일부터 2014년 2월 28일까지 경기도 소재 S대학병원에서 ‘비의식하 진정’ 위내시경 검사를 받기 위해 내원한 대상자로 심포기맥(K9) 지압군 20명, 내관(P6) 지압군 20명, 대조군 20명으로 각각 배정하였으며, 위내시경 30분 전 사전조사, 실험처치, 검사 후 회복실에서 사후조사 순으로 진행하였다. 결과 : 연구 결과 세 그룹 간 오심의 세기(NRS)는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였고[F=3.503, p=.037], 세 그룹 간 산소포화도는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였으며[F=5.417, p=.007], 세 그룹 간 분당 호흡수는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다[F=7.270, p=.002]. 결론 : 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 심포기맥(K9) 지압과 내관(P6) 지압은 ‘비의식하 진정’ 위내시경 대상자에게 오심을 감소시키고, 호흡수 및 산소포화도가 정상 범위 내에서 안정적으로 유지하는 데 효과적인 간호중재임을 확인하였다.

Abstract

Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the effects of Pericardium Kimek (K9) and Nei-Guan (P6) acupressure on relief of theanxiety, nausea, retching and physiologic changes (oxygen saturation, blood pressure, heart rate, temperature and respiration) in thepatients undergoing unsedated esophagogastroduodenoscopy. Methods: A quasi-experimental research design was used. The participantswere assigned into the listed three groups, i.e., the control group, the first experimental group (E1: K9 acupressure group) and thesecond experimental group (E2: P6 acupressure group). A total of 60 participants were included for analysis. Results: The severity ofnausea (F=3.503, p=.037), the oxygen saturation (F=5.417, p=.007). and the respiration rate (F=7.270, p=.002) showed statisticallysignificant differences in three groups. Conclusion: Based on the results of the present study, K9 acupressure with moxa pellets andP6 acupressure with wristbands (Sea-Band) are considered to be safe and an easy-to-apply intervention to relieve nausea and maintainthe level of oxygen saturation and respiration rate in patients undergone unsedated esophagogastroduodenoscopy.
