purpose : 중년과 노인의 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향요인(생활만족도, 자아 존중감, 희망, 우울)을 확인함으로써, 노년의 건강한 삶을 유지, 증진시키는 간호중재의 기초 자료를 마련하기 위함이다 method : 2012년 5월 6일부터 2012년 5월 28일까지 도구선정을 위한 1차 사전조사와 2012년 7월 20일부터 2012년 8월 10일까지 2차 본 조사로 실시하였으며, 연구 대상은 서울에 거주하는 45세~64세 성인 남여 181명과 65세 이상 노인 남여 209명, 총 390명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료 분석 방법은 SPSS Window 20.0 Program을 이용하여 연구목적에 따라 백분율과 실수, 평균과 표준편차, X²-test, Pearson’s 적률상관계수, t-test, ANCOVA를 이용하여 분석하였다. Result : 1) 두 집단 간 인구사회학적 특성에 대한 동질성 검증결과, 성별, 종교, 교육수준, 결혼상 태, 직업, 건강상태, 동거가족에 있어 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나, 두 집단은 경제 수준을 제외한 나머지 특성 모두에서 동질하지 않은 것으로 확인되었다. 2) 두 집단의 연구변수 간 상관관계를 확인한 결과, 중년과 노인의 집단 모두 심리적 안녕감, 희망, 자아 존중감, 우울 및 생활만족도와 아주 밀접한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 3) 두 집단 간 연구변수들의 평균 차이비교 결과, 심리적 안녕감, 희망, 자아 존중감 및 우울이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 생활만족도는 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 4) 두 집단의 심리적 안녕감 영향요인을 확인한 결과, 중년은 자아 존중감, 희망, 우울, 결 혼상태가, 노인은 희망, 생활만족도, 우울변수가 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌 다. 즉 중년은 자아존중감이, 노인은 희망이 심리적 안녕감에 가장 큰 영향변인으로 확인되었다. conclusion : 중년과 노인의 심리적 안녕감이 사회 심리적 상태에 미치는 영향에 있어, 두 집단 평균차이는 있었으나 두군 간 특성과는 무관한 것으로 확인되었고, 그러나 두 집단 간 인구 특성 중 교육, 종교, 결혼상태, 건강상태, 직업여부 및 경제적 수준이 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되어, 이와 같은 특성을 성인 때부터 강화하여 심리적 안녕감으로 사회 심리적 적응도를 향상시켜 보다 평안한 노년을 맞이할 수 있도록 함이 요구된다.
Abstract
Purpose: To investigate the impact of psychological well-being on psycho-social in the elderly and middle aged Adults. Methods: A sample of the 209 elderly and 181 middle aged adults. Data analysis was done by pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results: First, there were significant differences between the groups in gender, religion, education, marital status, occupation and family coresidence in homogeneity tests. Second, psychological well-being, hope, self-esteem, depression and life satisfaction were significantly correlated each other in the both groups. Third, there were significant differences in psychological well-being, hope, self-esteem and depression between two groups. For middle aged adults self-esteem was influencing most in psychologic well-being while hope affected most for the elderly. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it is important to improve psychological well-being to prepare successful elderly life.
