본 연구는 정부 및 공공기관 유튜브 채널을 중심으로 이용자의 혁신성이 그들의 인식과 만족, 구전과 몰입 등에 이르는 경로를 검정해보고자 하였다. 연구결과 정부와 공공기관 유튜브 이용자들은 공공적 차원의 알권리와 콘텐츠의 전문성에 대해서는 만족하고 있으며, 재미와 창의성 측면에서는 불만이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 공공기관의 정보가 주는 신뢰성이 매우 크며, 정보획득과 신뢰성은 채널에 대한 만족과 지속이용, 구전과 몰입에 매우 중요한 요인으로 작용하고 있음을 확인하였다. 연구자들은 거짓정보가 만연한 유튜브 생태계에서 공공정보의 바른 전달이 중요하다고 보고 있으며, 재미 요소가 적은 것이 공공기관 채널의 특징이라 할지라도, 별도의 채널을 확장하면서 창의적 시도를 하는 것은 바람직하다고 보았다. 본 연구는 공공기관 유튜브 채널 이용자의 구전 및 몰입 효과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 경로검정을 통해 실증적으로 분석하여 학술적, 실무적 가치가 있다고 보았다. 연구자들은 본 연구를 통하여 정부 및 공공기관의 유튜브 채널 이용자에 대한 이해를 높이고 효율적인 콘텐츠 서비스 기획 및 제공에 함의를 줌과 동시에 유튜브 생태계의 건전화에 도움을 줄 수 있는 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
This study deals with the government and public institution YouTube channels to examine the pathways through which user innovativeness leads to their perceptions, satisfaction, word of mouth, and flow. The results showed that government and public organization YouTube users are satisfied with the public's right to know and the professionalism of the content, but dissatisfied with the fun and creativity of the content. The study also found that public organizations' information is highly trustworthy, and that information acquisition and trustworthiness are very important factors for channel satisfaction, continued use, and retention. The researchers believe that it is important to deliver public information appropriately in the YouTube ecosystem, where misinformation is widespread, and even though public channels are characterized by fewer entertaining elements, it is desirable to make creative attempts while expanding separate channels. This study has academic and practical value by empirically analyzing the factors that affect the word of mouth and flow effects of public institutional YouTube channel users through path testing. The researchers expect that this study will improve the understanding of government and public institutional YouTube channel users and provide implications for efficient content service planning and provision, as well as serve as a basis for helping to healthy the YouTube ecosystem.
