The image and style in animation not just an expression of a visual image but visual communication that expands the action of meaning through the icon sign. The analysis of a visual and cultural factor suggests that the image and style in animation could play an important role as a cultural mode leading to new styles not merely as an aesthetic mechanism. The study there with analyzed animation <Balance> systematically to discern where the icon sign shows up in animation under the concept of Erwin Panofsky's Iconology.
Abstract
