초록

Injury within the field of dance presents complex psychological and physical challenges that influence performance, motivation, and identity. Dancers, who rely on their bodies as the primary medium of artistic and athletic expression, frequently face injuries that not only limit their physical abilities but also disrupt emotional stability and self-concept. This review synthesizes current literature concerning the psychological factors influencing injury and rehabilitation in dancers. The analysis integrates theoretical frameworks derived from sport psychology, including the Stress–Injury Model (Andersen & Williams, 1988), the Integrated Model of Response to Sport Injury and Rehabilitation (Wiese-Bjornstal et al., 1998), and self-determination theory (Deci & Ryan, 2000). The findings emphasize that perfectionism, fear of re-injury, identity disruption, and cultural norms unique to dance all play pivotal roles in recovery. Moreover, the review highlights evidence-based rehabilitation approaches and the need for multidisciplinary collaboration that address both psychological and physical recovery. By examining emotional responses, coping mechanisms, and social support structures, this paper provides practical and theoretical implications for supporting dancers’ holistic rehabilitation.
