Abstract
The purpose of the study was to investigate the distribution of soil Keratinophilic Fungi (KPF) isolated in various sites in the Taegu. From 60 soil samples, collected at 20 sites in the Taegu areas. 1. The number of 60 soil samples KPF were isolated from 46 samples(76.3%). The total number of strains were 55 consisting of 16 Microsporum(T.) gypseum , 12 Chrysosporium, 15 Trichophyton(T.) ajeiioi， 4 M.cookei, 2 Sepedonium and 2 M. nanum. 2. The number of KPF isolated at virius sites was high in the cowshed , and low inthe field side. T. ajelloi was frequent in the field , M. gypseun in the cowshed and Chrysosporium at the roadsite.
