고혈압 환자의 심에코도 소견

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to help the early diagnosis of cardiovascular disease and hypertension using echocardiography. The echocardiographic results obtained with M mode 35 normotensive subjects(men 19, women 16) and 46 hypertensive subjects(men25, women 21) in Dept. of Internal Medicine, Wonkwang University Hospital between October 1995 to March 1996. The results were as f ollow ; 1. There were no significant difference between normotensive and hypertensive group in mean age, height, weight, body surface area(BSA), body mass index(BMI), heart rate. 2. Left ventricular diastolic end dimension(LVDED) were noted 52.54±5.82 mm innormotensive group, 51.67±6.56 mm in hypertensive group. Left ventricular systolic end dimension(LVSED) were noted 32.00±7.27 mm in normotensive group, 32.02±6.60 mm in hypertensive group. There were no significant difference between groups. 3. Ejection fraction(EF) were noted 68.94±12.10% in normotensive group, 68.07±9.26 % in hypertensive group. Fractional shortening(FS) were noted 39.63±9.21 % in normotensive group , 38.02±7.20 % in hypertensive group. There were no significant difference between groups. 4. Intetventricu1ar septum thickness (IVST) were noted 9.71±2.28 mm in normotensive group, 11.63±2.16 mm in hypertensive group. Left ventricu1ar posterior wall thickness (LVPWT) were noted 9.97±1. 87 mm in normotensive group, 11.70±2.14 mm in hypertensive group. IVST and LVPWT were significantly increased(p<0.0). 5. Aortic dimension(AOD) were noted 33.03±4.50 mm in normotensive group, 33.72±4.69 mm in hypertensive group. Left atrium dimension(LAD) were noted 34.91±5.14 mm in normotensive group, 36.28±5.38 mm in hypertensive group. There were no significant difference uetween groups. This resu1ts suggest that 1eft ventricu1ar of the hypertensive subjects were hypertrophied and the systolic function were maintained well.
