전북 지역의 Cryptosporidium oocyst 분포에 대한 역학적 조사

Abstract

This study was performed to know the distribution of Cryptosporidium oocysts infection among the cattle, fowls and untreated-water in Wanju, Iksan, Kimje and Okgu area , Jeonbuk in July 1997. Total 157 samples(feacal 100, water 57) collected and examined by the sedimentation technique and modified Kinyoun’s stain for Cryptosporidium oocysts. The detection rate of oocysts in the cattle was 23.0% out of 65 feacal samples, and the highest rate was in Okgu(40.0%), and Wanju 30.0%, Kimje 20.0%, and Iksan 6.7%, respectively. In the fowls, the detection rate was 20.0% out of 35 feacal samples, and the Wanju area showed higher detection rate(25.0%) than Iksan03.3%). In the untreated-water, the rate was 10.5% out of 57 samples, and the highest rate was in Okgu(37.5%), and Wanju 5.9%, Iksan and Kimje 6.3%, respectively.
