Abstract
In recent years, the prevalence of heart disease has been increasing. Among them myocardial infarction is known to be one the primary causes of sudden death among elders. When the heart attack patient arrived at emergency room the just thing to do is the prompt diagnosis. We need to review the various techniques being perfomed under the emergency situations. Thereupon, we compared advantages and disadvantages of these three techniques; electrocarcardiography, echocardiography, and coronary angiography. The patients diagnosed as anteroseptal myocardial infarction on ECG showed regional wall motion abnormality in the anteroseptal, apex on echocardiography. Over the 80% of myocardial infarction patients showed coronary artery stenosis by angiography.
