Helicobater pylori 검출 및 위 병변의 변화를 보기위한 염색법 비교

Abstract

Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) gastritis is a worldwide problem significantly associated with duodenal and gastric peptic ulcer disease, gastric carcinomas, and MAL T -type lymp homas. A simple, repid, reproducible, reliable, and inexpensive stain to detect the organism in gastric biopsy specimens is thus of great value. To assess the reliability and cost-effectiv eness of a Leung stain for H. pylori , we stained 107 endoscopic mucosal biopsy specimens ( Chronic active gastritis 89 casese, Chronic superficial gastritis 12 cases, Adenoca rcinoma 6 cases ) and measured t~chnologists time, and material costs. We also stained serial section of 107 cases with the Leung, Warthin-Starry, Giemsa, and Genta methods. The results are as fellows ; 1. Leung method provide excellent contrast and morphological finding and save patholOglStS tlme. 2. Leung method is the cheapest, fastest and easiest to prepare than other stains. 3. Leung stained slides are evaluated more rapidly and greater ease by pathologist. In the final analysis, the choice of a special stain is individual preference.
