이 글의 목적은 농촌 동성마을의 결속력을 파악하여 농촌문제를 해결하기 위한 토대를 제공하는 데 있다. 농촌사회에는 여러 가지 특징이 있음에도 불구하고 농촌이 다양한 특징을 지닌 사회가 아닌 하나의 동질적 공동체로만 인식되어져 있을 뿐만 아니라, 동성마을의 특성에 대한 연구는 필요치 않는 것처럼보여 현재 농촌문제 파악에 한계가 있다. 이 글에서는 구체적인 분석대상을 안동시 풍천면 가곡리 가일마을을 정하고 주된 분석방법은 질문지를 통한 면접법을 활용했다. 안동가일마을의 결속력 연구에 대한 분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 인구사회변 인으로 인구수에 있어서 안동권씨가 전체의 27.3%를 차지하는 것으로 나타나 한국 동성마을의 인구분포를 잘 나타내주고 있다. 이념지향에서는 각성중심 자유민주주의가 58.3%로 가장 많았고, 동성중심 자유민주주의가 25.2%로 나 타나, 각성이든 동성이든 자유민주주의의 이념을 가진 응답자가 대부분으로 사회전체의 이념지향과 큰 차이가 없다. 지역문제에서 음주문제에 대한 만족정도가 가장 높게 나타났으며 정보문제 에 대한 만족도가 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 사회문제와 지역결속력을 살펴 보면 주거문제나 대인관계, 음주문제, 정신문제 등에 만족할수록 지역결속력이 높다고 할 수 있다. 그러나 정보문제는 그다지 지역결속력에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 각 변인과 지역결속력의 회귀분석에서 지역결속력과 관련이 있는 것은 안동 권씨, 토박이정도나 사회주의지향이 아닌 생활비정도, 자유민주지향 및 대인관계에 관련된 지역교육이 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 사회문제 해결 주체는 이 점에 유의해야 할 것으로 본다
Abstract
This paper aims at providing the basis to solve the rural society problems through the solidarity of the consanguine village in Korean ruralcommunities. Although there are many different characteristics in the rural communities, these differences, as a whole, have been disregarded. In consequence of this, we have some difficulties in understanding the characteristics of the consanguine village in rural communities. Focusing on Andong Gail village, we collected the data by estionnaires. The results of the analyses of solidarity in Gail are as follows. In the demo-socio factors, the number of Andong Kwon is 27.3%, which shows Gail village as a typical example of the consanguine village in Korean rural communities. In ideology orientation, 58.3% of Gail represents free-democratic orientation and other family name orientation, and 25.2% of Gail represents free-democratic orientation and the consanguine name orientation, which means that Gail, generally, represents free-democratic orientation. In social problems, the results represent that the satisfaction degree of drinking is high and that of information is low. The relations of social problems and rural solidarity are as follows. Not information problems but dwelling problems, personal relation problems, drinking problems, and mental problems are related to the rural solidarity. The regression results of the factors and solidarity are as follows. The factors affecting the solidarity are not the consanguine name, the dwelling years, and socialism but the economic satisfaction, free-democratic orientation, and local education related to face to face relation.
