장기실종 아동 부모들의 피해경험 연구

본 연구는 장기실종아동 부모들이 자녀의 실종으로 인해 겪었던 심리, 정서적 고통의 내용과 피해사례와 관련된 내용을 분석해보고 이들을 위한 적절한 개입방안을 마련하는데 기여하고자 하는 목적을 지니고 있다. 연구주제를 위해서 총 5명의 장기실종아동부모들을 심층면담하여 원자료를 확보하였고 이를 질적사례연구로 접근했다. 연구결과 첫째, 대부분의 연구참여자들은 자녀실종으로 인해 심리 정서, 사회, 경제적, 가족관계에서 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 특히 이들은 자살을 여러번 시도하는 등 심각한 정서, 심리문제를 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이혼과 같은 가족해체를 경험했고 실종수색과정에서 경제 파산위기를 겪기도 했으며 실직자가 되거나 신용불량자로 전락하는 등 경제적 고통을 경험하고 있었다. 둘째, 실종당시 초동수사가 제대로 이뤄지지 않은 상황에서 장기실종으로 이어졌고 당시 충분한 증거를 확보하지 못한 상황에서 장기실종에 대한 수사가 답보상태에 머물러 있기 때문에 많은 참여자들은 국가에 대한 불신을 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 실종법 제정이 이루어졌지만 정작 장기실종부모들은 큰 도움을 받지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 장기실종부모들의 노력으로 실종아동법을 제정된 이후 실종아동 수색에 큰 성과를 거두기도 했지만 부모들을 위한 경제적, 심리정서적 지원은 거의 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 무엇보다 장기실종 부모 및 아동에 대한 사회적 관심의 확대가 필요할 것이다. 또한 장기실종수사에 대한 시스템개선이 무엇보다 필요하며 장기실종아동 가족들을 위한 다양한 사례관리와 위기개입, 정서지원 프로그램과 같은 실질적인 접근이 필요할 것이다.
Abstract
The research is to study the victim experience of the parents of Long-term missing children and life from the suffering from the event, I expect to propose a supportive program to help the stability of their life. Six of the parents of long-term missing children joined this research and the case study methodology was applied to interpret it. Data were collected by the depth interview and they were analyzed stake(1995)’s methology. Base upon the research outcome. I can suggest case management system with purpose of helping them through counseling programs and family therapy and various substantial policy for their family. I need to offer them guidance, coping skills, emotional support and economic resources. and to offer constant investigaion of police about long-term missing children.
