교육선교에 관한 연구 -제주교육선교의 가능성을 모색하며－

예수님은 모든 믿는 이들에게 교육선교의 사명을 맡기셨다. 가서, 제자를 삼아, 세례를베풀고, 가르쳐 지키게 하라는 주님의 명령을 수행하기 위하여 본 논문은 교육선교론을정립하였고 교육선교의 장에 대한 새로운 이해를 다루었으며 교육선교에 대한 이론 및 실천적 근거에 대하여 연구하였다. 그 결과 교육선교를 수행하는 이는 자신이 누구인가 어떠한 일을 수행하는 이인가에 대한 균형잡힌 이해를 가져야 함을 밝혔다. 교육선교는 피교육선교인들을 존중하고 그들의 삶의 자리에 대한 충분한 이해를 가져야함은 물론이요적당한 시점이 오면 현지에서 살아온 그들에게 모든 직임을 위임해야 함을 밝혔다. 그리고 본 연구의 초점 중의 하나인 제주도 내의 교회학교 내에서 어린이부에 대한 실태조사결과에 대하여 살펴보았다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 한 교육선교의 가능성을 모색하고 실천방안에 대한 제안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Jesus entrusted all believers the task of educational mission. Go,make disciples, baptize them, and teach all that He had commanded were crucial components of His commandment. In order to carry out the Great Commandment, this paper set the theory of educational mission. Besides, it not only dealt a new perspective on the place of educational mission, but it focused on the theoretical and practical bases of the educational mission. As a result, it discovered that the person who carries out the Lord’s commandment must have a clear understanding of who he/she is and carry out the educational mission with respect and wholistic understanding of Sitz im Leben of the place and people whom he/she serves. Then a survey on children department in churches at Jeju Island. On that survey result and analysis, this paper sought possible ways to promote educational mission for the future and the author founded Jeju Educational Mission Institute to enhance educational mission ministry in Jeju Island by equipping lay-persons for children and youths.
