Abstract
Our contemporary society demands a rapid change in every sphere even in the religious realm. Thus churches in Korea are now struggling to reform their ministry system to fit in the new social atmosphere. Church leadership is the key stone to reform whole frame of the church ministry. By the end of 20th century, church leadership in Korea has been greatly influenced by American church leadership theory. However, entering the 21c, churches in Korea are now facing a challenge to reform their leadership paradigm by empowering it with Korean cultural characters. Confucianism is one of the key factors which has taken root in the ground of Korean culture for many centuries since Goguryo dynasty
