This article aims at exploring tasks and methods in the Christian Universities for ‘Green Movement’(or Green Start Movement) from the perspective of Christian Education. They are derived from analysis of sociocultural needs, academic needs, and contemporary Christian universities’ tasks. This methodology is to survey the literature. This analyzes understanding of Green Movement, needs for the Christian universities’ participation, Christian Education theories on Green movement and tasks for Green Movement in Korean society and Christian Church. This article contributes to not only exploring tasks of the Christian Universities but also identifying reason of being for contemporary Christian Universities by associating the Universities into Christian Church or nongovernment organizations.
Abstract
