포스트코로나 시대는 전인류 문명에게 뿐 아니라, 병원목회의 사역과 정체성, 선교적 접근에 근본적 전환점을 요청한다. 용인세브란스병원은 연세의료원 부속기관으로서 기독교 사명과 정체성을 공유한다. 용인세브란스병원은 Covid-19 팬데믹 현상과 더불어 신축개원하며, 포스트코로나 팬데믹 현상을 기관의 역사와 함께 공유하고 있다. 포스트코로나 팬데믹 현상은 병원 목회 사역과 정체성에 근본적인변화를 요청하였고, 용인세브란스병원 원목실에 이에 대한 신학적 성찰과 목회적 대응으로 새로운 환경에 지속가능한 모델을 모색한다. 실천신학적 방법론을 토대로, 본 연구는 병원 목회 사역의 궁극적 목표와 정체성을 ‘영혼 돌봄 사역’으로 전제하고, 성육신(incarnation) 신앙을 새로운 환경에 영적 통찰을 제공하는 영성적 자원을 탐색하고, 상황적 대응을 위한 실천적 특징들을 파악한다. 이에 근거하여, 용인세브란스병원 원목실이 포스트코로나 상황에서 새롭게 도전하고 전개해온 새로운 유형의 목회사역과 프로그램들을 탐구하고, 그 사역적 타당성과 지속가능성에 대해 고찰한다. 마지막으로 의료 선교와 병원 목회 영역에서 포스트코로나 시대를 시대적 전환점으로 전제하고, 실현가능한 미래 목회 방향과 선교적 접근을 제안한다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 포스트코로나 시대가 제공하는 새로운 목회 환경을제고하고, 지속가능한 선교 사역과 목회 돌봄 모델을 제안하여, 영적 돌봄사역으로서 병원 목회와 원목실이 그 정체성과 역할을 강화하여 기독교 병원이 시대적 사명을 증진시키는 학문적 토대를 구축하려고 시도한다.
Abstract
The Post-corona era calls for a fundamental turning point in the ministry, identity, and missionary approach of hospital ministry as well as civilization of all mankind. Yongin Severance Hospital shares a Christian mission and identity as an affiliated institution of Yonsei Medical Center. Yongin Severance Hospital is newly opened along with the Covid-19 pandemic, and the post-corona pandemic is shared with the history of the institution. The post-coronavirus pandemic has requested a fundamental change in the ministry and identity of the hospital’s pastoral ministry, and we seek a sustainable model in a new environment through theological reflection and pastoral response to the chaplain office of Yongin Severance Hospital. Based on the practical theological methodology, this study presupposes the ultimate goal and identity of hospital pastoral ministry as ‘a spiritual care ministry’, explores the spiritual resources that provide spiritual insight into the new environment through faith in the incarnation, and Identify practical characteristics for responding to adversaries. Based on this, we explore the new types of pastoral ministry and programs that Yongin Severance Hospital has been developing in the post-coronavirus situation, and examine its feasibility and sustainability. Finally, in the field of medical missions and hospital ministry, the post-corona era is premised as a turning point of the times, and a feasible future ministry direction and missionary approach are proposed. Through this, this study improves the new pastoral environment provided by the post-corona era, proposes a sustainable missionary ministry and pastoral care model, and strengthens the identity and role of the hospital ministry and the chaplaincy as a spiritual care ministry, so that the Christian hospital is advancing the current societal circumstance.
