대학생 필자의 학문적 글쓰기 과정에 나타난 장르 인식과 글쓰기 변형의 상관 분석 연구

본 연구는 대학생 필자의 학문적 글쓰기에 대한 장르 인식과 글쓰기 변형 간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 세 대학(K1-K3)의 대학생 필자 255명을 대상으로 시간차를 두고 설문조사(2회)를 실시하였으며, 초점 집단 속 학생 5명의 글쓰기 과정을 관찰하고 분석 코딩 작업을 실시하였다. 인터뷰 자료와 쓰기 과정의 다양한 담화 자료들도 분석했다. 양적 분석은 SPSS 19.0을 활용하여 기술통계 분석, 대응 t–검정 분석, 다중 반응 빈도 분석, 상관 분석을 실시하였다. 질적 분석은 코딩 자료, 인터뷰와 담화 자료 분석을 중심으로 종합적으로 이루어졌다. 분석 결과, 장르 인식 양상은 대응 t-검정 분석 결과에서, t=-5.445(대응1), t=-5.844(대응2), 유의수준은 a=.000(대응1, 대응2)으로 유의하였다. 대학생 필자들의 장르 인식 양상은 시간에 따라 학문적 담화 공동체가 용인하는 측면으로 변화했다. 장르 인식 양상의 변화에 따라 필자들의 학문적 글쓰기 과정 중 ‘행동 특성, 유창성, 전략 사용, 언어 사용 수준, 수정 과정, 오독 분석’ 측면에서도 글쓰기 변형이 나타났다. 대학생 필자의 장르 인식과 글쓰기의 변형은 높은 상관성(r=.956)을 보였다. 글쓰기 변형 유형별 상관 분석 결과에서는 ‘수정 과정-필자의 입장과 견해 변형(r=.635)’, ‘글의 수정 과정-글쓰기의 목적 변형(r=.638)’ 측면이 통계적으로 유의한 상관을 나타냈다.
Abstract
The Purpose of this article is to analyze the correlation between genre awareness and writing transformation of academic college writers. The analysis look at the 255 college students of the university(K1-K3). This research is used the 2 times questionnaire(pre-post questionnaire). In this article it is to be observed the writing processes of 5 students(N1-N5). And the author then focuses on the issue of students coding data, which were carried out by 5 students. We also analyzed various discourse materials of interview materials that is carried out during the writing processes. Quantitative analysis was performed using SPSS and this article is to analyze descriptive statistical analysis, corresponding t-test analysis, multiple response frequency analysis, and correlation analysis. The qualitative analysis was done comprehensively with the coded data, interviews and discourse analysis. The genre perception patterns were as follows: t=-5.445(response1), t=-5.844(response2), and significance level a=.000(response1, response2). Beyond the threshold of freshmen, the writer's perception of genre has changed to the aspect tolerated by the academic discourse community according to the time difference of the questionnaire. As the genre perception changes, the behavioral characteristics, fluency, strategy use, language use level, revision process, and misreading process of writing process have changed. Particularly, genre perception of writing and transformation process of writing showed high correlation(r=.956). The correlation analysis result between ‘the revision process of writing’ and ‘Change in voice and stance’ is r=.635, and the correlation analysis result between ‘the revision process of writing’ and ‘he modification of writing purpose’ is r=.638 which were statistically significant.
