초록

St. Petersburg's five academic drama theaters continue to play an important role in guiding the city's theatrical flow. Among them, compared to the other four theaters, the Komissarzhevskaya Theater is somewhat less well-known and has relatively fewer awards. Considering that the Komissarzhevskaya Theater is one of the oldest historical theaters and was the epicenter of experimental Russian avant-garde theater before the revolution, the changes and current status of the theater are somewhat ironic. As part of a long-term research project looking at the topography of Petersburg theaters, this study aims to examine the current status of the Komissarzhevskaya Theater, which is one of the city's oldest theaters and has undergone more dramatic changes than any other theaters. The research method was conducted through the trends and directions of the current theater repertory. The repertory of the Komissarzhevskaya Theater is largely divided into three categories. It is a classic play, a popular play, and a commemorative play about history. Through analysis of the repertory, the trends and characteristics of this theater can be summarized as follows. First, the art director does not reveal his or her aesthetic vision by not directing. Second, this theater overemphasizes its historical significance. The third thing that stands out is that the repertory of works is gradually becoming more popular. This shows that the theater is more interested in its historical roots than its aesthetic vision. Additionally, the spatial conditions of being located within a department store in a downtown area are contributing to making the theater's repertory more popular. This place, which started as the Komissarzhevskaya Theater, went through the Blockade Theater and the Leningrad Drama Theater before regaining its name as the Komissarzhevskaya Theater. The identity of the Komissarzhevskaya Theater is that the history of the city and the history of the theater are closely connected, and this is even more important in that it has a great influence on the current operation and repertory of the Komissarzhevskaya Theater. This study will be meaningful in that it is the first full-scale study of the Komissarzhevskaya Theater, which has never been covered before in Korea.

Abstract
