Due to the severe shortage of the Khitan language materials, the interpretations of Khitan script have encountered difficulties over the long period of time. Nevertheless, studies on Khitan scripts have achieved an outstanding achievement through the painstaking efforts by scholars of several generations. The discovery of new materials has provided some useful clues to the interpretation of Khitan script.
Abstract
Due to the severe shortage of the Khitan language materials, the interpretations of Khitan script have encountered difficulties over the long period of time. Nevertheless, studies on Khitan scripts have achieved an outstanding achievement through the painstaking efforts by scholars of several generations. The discovery of new materials has provided some useful clues to the interpretation of Khitan script.
