초록

The purpose of this research is to investigate the light quality effects provided by Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs) on the growth of hemp seedlings derived from cutting under plant factory system. ‘V1’ and ‘V4’ hemp cuttings were collected on the 2nd or 3rd node from the top of mother plants. The cuttings were hydroponically cultured under the different light qualities with monochromic or mixture of blue, red or white light for 6 weeks. On day 42, a significant increment in number of nodes and branches developed in the V1 and V4 seedlings was shown in Treatment BR of blue plus red LEDs. In both varieties, the number of nodes and branches increased 14% and 22% in Treatment BR compared to Treatment R of monohromic red and fluorescent light (Treatment FL) considered as a control, respectively. Stem diameter in V1 and V4 was significantly 100% and 117% greater in Treatment BR than in Treatment FL, respectively. Although the secondary metabolites did not mentioned in the present, it was suggested that the hemp seedlings derived from cuttings were successfully cultured under the plant factory system with the BR mixture LEDs compared to the conventional seedling culture method.
