초등학교 도덕과 교육에서 평가 영역에 대한 문제는 끊임없이 제기되어 왔다. 인지적 측면을 중시하는 타 교과와는 달리 도덕과 교육은 실천적이고 행동적인 측면이 중요한 교과이다. 따라서 도덕과 평가는 교육을 통하여 변화된 학생의 ‘도덕적 행동’을 점검할 수 있어야 하며, 이를 바탕으로 학생들의 행동을 올바른 방향으로 조절할 수 있어야 한다. 또한 교사는 평가의 결과를 도덕성 향상을 위한 수업의 토대로 삼아야 한다. 이에 본 연구자는 도덕과 자기평가 도구의 기술적 보조 수단으로서 직접 개발한 모바일 어플리케이션(개발앱의 임시명칭 : 모리와 함께하는 모바일 덕목다이어리)을 제안한다. 본 연구에서 개발한 ‘도덕과 모바일 자기평가도구’는 학생에게는 언제 어디서든 자신의 도덕적 행동을 즉각적으로 평가하고 반성하며 자기 조절할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고, 교사에게는 학생이 보고한 누적된 자기평가 결과를 바탕으로 도덕과 평가의 기준을 마련하고 적절한 도덕적/교육적 피드백의 기회를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop an effective self-evaluation tool that can be applied to Ethics education in elementary schools. Problems in Ethics education are being aroused constantly. It emphasizes on behavioral and practical aspects, as opposed to subjects that emphasize on cognitive aspects. Thus, Ethics education should evaluate the student’s changes in moral behavior and help lead them in the right direction. In addition, teachers should use the results for instructions that enhance student’s moral behavior. So, I would suggest teachers use the mobile phone app (named Mobile virtues diary with Mori) for self-evaluation tool as the technical assistance. Mobile app developed in this study is expected as follows: First, it provides an opportunity for students to immediately reflect and control themselves at any place or time. Second, it provides students with feedback from their teachers on their moral behavior.
