부모-자녀결속감과 고독감, 삶의 만족 간 관계 연구 -시 지역과 군 지역 노인 비교 분석-

초록

본 연구의 목적은 노인의 고독감을 매개로 부모와 자녀 사이의 결속감이 노인의 삶의 만족에 미치는영향을 시 지역과 군 지역으로 나누어 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울대학교 SSK 고령사회 연구단에서조사한 ‘노인의 건강한 노화 및 웰다잉에 관한 연구 조사 결과보고서’의 자료를 활용하여, 총 1,986명의설문자료를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모와 자녀 간 결속감 중일치적결속감과 기능적결속감Ⅰ이 시 지역과 군 지역 노인의 삶의 만족에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시 지역 노인의 고독감에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 부모와 자녀 간 결속감은 애정적결속감과 기능적결속감Ⅱ이었고, 군 지역 노인의 고독감에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 부모와 자녀 간 결속감은 애정적결속감과 일치적결속감이었다. 셋째, 고독감은 시 지역 노인과 군 지역 노인의 삶의 만족에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 고독감을 매개로 한 간접효과는 시 지역 노인의 경우에만 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 지역사회의 특성이 반영된 지역사회 노인 복지정책수립을 위한 시사점을 논의하고 노인의 삶의 만족의 향상을 위한 실천적인 개입 방안을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the parent-child solidarity on the life satisfaction of elderly living urban and rural communities through loneliness. Utilizing the survey data collected by the Aging Society and Social Capital Research Center in 2018, we analyzed 1,683 elderly living in urban areas and 303 elderly living in rural areas. The results of the study were as follows: First, consensual solidarity and functional solidarityⅠ were found to have a signifiant effect on life satisfaction of elderly living in urban and rural areas. Second, the solidarity between parents and children, which have a significant effect on the loneliness of elderly living in urban areas, was affectual solidarity and functional solidarityⅡ. And the solidarity between parents and children, which have a significant effect on the loneliness of elderly living in rural areas, was affectual solidarity and consensual solidarity. Finally, the loneliness was found to have a negative effect on the life satisfaction of the elderly in the urban and rural. But the indirect effect of the loneliness was significant only in the urban elderly. Based on the findings of this study, the researchers suggested policy implications for the establishment of welfare policy for the older adults, which reflects the characteristics of the community, and for the improvement of life satisfaction of the elderly.
