초록
One of the methods used to enhance user immersion in VR content is input methods that move beyond traditional controllers. Many VR applications are utilizing hand tracking technology to replace controllers by using hand gestures as a user interface. However, unlike mechanical devices like controllers or keyboards, the angles at which people feel comfortable with a hand gesture may differ from person to person, even for the same gesture. This individual variation can lead to a decrease in hand tracking accuracy, potentially hindering users from becoming accustomed to hand gesture-based user interfaces. Therefore, this study investigates the impact of individual differences in hand gestures, such as finger angles, on the user experience in VR content and provides an explanation for these effects.
